As an eclectic Wiccan, I respect and worship nature and do my best to preserve its beauty. With this worship comes the respect for Mother Earth's creatures, and I have chosen a vegan path in order to lessen the suffering.

Yeah... I already graduated college, but I never left school! I've been a teacher ever since! Right now I'm in Taiwan teaching English to sweet kids, and of course I always share the message of compassion towards animals with them.

Ello All. ♥ I never am really quite sure what to say in this section of any of my profile's I've had on social networks... No matter what I put I feel like your never going to get an accurate depiction of who it is I am unless you really get to know me.

Im 17 years old about to turn 18. I have been vegetarian since I could remember. Tried meat for a year when I was about 14 and then stopped. I drink wine every once in a while if you were wondering about my profile pic. Yes I am classy like that. Anyway, stop animal cruelty and support gay rights and marriage equality!

My presentation!!
Today in religion class we where supposed to do a presentation on what makes us special and how can we help others by just being ourselves. I was really exited so I was the first to volunteer.
In my presentation everything was going great and the people where loving my presentation until I said that by being vegan I help others because sometimes animals also need help, (not only humans). When the teacher heard this she got angry and started saying that I was wrong because I also need to remember that plants are alive too and that even though that by being vegan I don’t kill animals, I do kill plants, which is more or less the same thing.
I was like WTF?!? Everyone started laughing at me and one of my classmates said that she felt sorry for me because I thought I was making a difference by being vegan! I tried to explain to the teacher that plants can’t feel anything and that animals suffer horribly before being killed but she just said :”Just go to your seat, that was enough!”
I am so mad and upset right now! I just hate it when ignorant people think that they know everything! >:(
So I was wondering have you had any experience like this one before? And if so, what do you do to get over it?
