    So I posted a topic like last week about how picky he was. Well I finally found things he actually liked. But now he hasn’t eaten in 4 days. I even flattened out the sand by his food bowl to see if he goes near it but he doesn’t . I do notice he goes in his salt water and its mostly gone every night but he doesn’t touch his freshwater . So why isn’t he eating. Is he gunna molt? Is he lonely? Did he get full from all the food he ate the last time he ate?

    @SkiVegChick
    I’ve done research I know all about hermit crabs. He has organic soil he also has sand. The humidity and temperature is fine. I bought him a friend…but they sold it to me dead….so I haven’t got another yet. And yes he has a 10 gallon tank

    Have you heard of http://www.hermitcrabpatch.com ? Order some of the “organic soil” (worm droppings) and give ur hermies a bowl of that :) Is your crabitat humid enough? Warm enough? Do you only have one? The way you type makes it sound like you only have one! Despite their names. Hermit crabs are very social and in the wild travel in packs of up to 200! They can get depressed alone, and often wont eat if deppressed. Is ur tank 10gallons plus????
