Ohkeydokey, so I’m absurdly vain and have loved St. Ives scrubby facial cleanser for years and years…. but then when I saw it a few days ago, it was owned by Unilever and didn’t say ‘NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS” in big letters on the back anymore. :P I was heartbroken. Sooooo, does anyone else know of a different kind of facial scrub that is cruelty free and doesn’t have any salycic acid/weird chemicals in it and just scrubs your face? Thank you so much!!!! (PS: I finally have a job, so I can afford something a little more expensive than three dollars if I absolutely need to. ;) Yayy!!!)

I second @nokfcaz.. I love vitacost! You can get $10.00 off of your first purchase if you have a friend refer you, too. I have a link but I don’t want to spam the boards. I think you may be able to Google it, though! :)

@luckystarJenna awh, lame! You might want to try http://www.vitacost.com! They have TONS of all natural food, snacks, vitamins, and body care stuff and you can limit the results to vegan-only! And it’s super easy to get free shipping!

@NOKFCAZ I so would, but I live in a teeny tiny town in New Hampshire. :D There’s a health food store, but I already checked there and saw a ton of amazing stuff (including vegan makeup and chocolate. Yayyayyyayy!!) but no facial cleanser.

@plamardonesy Yepp. :( Some of the old bottles are still being sold, but they’re being switched out with a new bottle that doesn’t say that. My sister bought one a few days ago that still said ‘Not Tested on Animals’ but when I went to grab it the logo had changed and it was owned by Unilever. Shniffle.

Really? Is St. Ives from Unilever? I thought it wasn’t, even in the packaging it says that it’s not tested on animals. So bad :(

@luckystarjenna, I use Coalface from LUSH, but they have other facial cleansers depending on skin type. Might be worth checking out! :)

@Whitney-C :) I was just looking at those and they really do seem awesome. I’d probably have to combine the three types to get a full skin regemine going, since I have awkward combination skin that likes to be babied. Sigh.
Has anyone tried this: http://www.amazon.com/Queen-Helene-Apricot-Natural-Facial/dp/B0009EXNWE/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1341541313&sr=1-1&keywords=Queen+Helene+Apricot+Natural+Facial+Scrub ? It looks kinda like the St. Ives stuff, but it could be totally different and I’d have no clue.

@luckystarjenna I use Yes To Carrots facial scrub: http://www.yestocarrots.com/category/face-care?category_id=0000001. I buy my Yes To Carrots products at Target, Walgreens, and my local grocery store, so they shouldn’t be too difficult to find in your area, too. :) -Whitney from peta2

Look up a vegan oatmeal facial scrub recipe on google. I did one with organic lemon and cucumber and my face felt really fresh after it!

try your local heath food store. They usually carry great face scrubs. Or make your own.
