Hi, I’ve been a vegetarian for 7 years And have recently decided to become vegan, however I have a history of anorexia. Is this a bad mix? What are caloric vegan foods I
Can eat to prevent me from losing weight? Please help thanks (:

Oh trust me as an over weight vegan (yes we do exist and no it’s not a glandular problem my doctor assures me I’m just fat) you won’t have to worry about finding calorie rich vegan food, especially if you’re into vegan meats. I’m a Seventh Day Adventist so I grew up veggie and almost vegan (we still ate eggs) and you’d be surprised by how much junk food is vegan.
Oreos are an excellent example of such. I’ve actually gained weight since going vegan (my doctor isn’t to happy about that) o just relax, check labels and don’t worry.
(Well worry a little or you’ll have the opposite problem)

I’m a vegan with an eating disorder and I can honestly say it’s helped me a lot. I’m no longer ‘fussy’ as I’m prepared to try anything, as long as it’s vegan!

Plus it’s given me the control over my food that I need, without restricting what I’m eating.

If you want high-calorie foods then vegan cakes are the way to go! But for everyday foods, I try to eat a lot of pasta, rice, bread etc.
