  • newly vegetarian , working towards becoming vegan , help?

    alrighty so as myself being a huge animal lover and so sympathetic towards them I decided so try becoming vegetarian for the 100th time, but this time i’m reeeeally trying hard. it was hard for me before because all my family are meat eaters, and being a meat eater all my life i’ve adapted to it, but this time i’m really inspired to transition to vegan but that would be even harder for me as I love cheese and milk (gross! I know !) support is much needed c: ! and does anyone know any cook book I can look at on the internet for free ? also tell me your stories ! thanks a bunch .

    I’ve been a vegetarian for 8 years by my own choice and am also trying to work towards being vegan so i completely know how you feel. when it comes to being a vegan for me its hard because i never really feel full so i think the key to being a vegetarian and vegan isnt just eating right but finding foods that are filling. The best for this that I’ve found is food high in protein, and things that contain a lot of grains

    I’ve been a vegetarian for the past five years and now I’m a vegan. I slowly transitioned when it came to veganism. You have to get your body use to new things. I googled a bunch of recipes and tried different foods, it was super yummy and a great discovery. I also drink soy milk and get faux meat. They have vegan cheese and other dairy products, look into it! But please do your research before becoming a vegan. You need to know how to balance everything out to get the proper nutrition and everything such. If you have any questions about my diet feel free to message me :)

    i understand what your going through! 😛 my whole family loves meat and dairy, and i really want to be vegan! their all just too judgmental! i just cant get my mom to accept it! BUT even without there support im still gonna try, ive found tons and tons of awesome vegan recipes on youtube 😀 just search “vegan recipes”in the search bar and lots will come up!!! 😀 and about the dairy thing, any time i want it i just think about how theres blood and puss in it x.x ….gross…..its bad enough to help me turn down the craving XD

    compassionate cook ( order it on peta catalogue) is a good cookbook. Try all of the alternative milks! There is almond,soy, coconut,hemp,flax,rice,cashew,walnut,7-grain,oat, sunflower etc.
