Like with any diet you have to work up to it you can’t be like bam you’re vegan. you have to slowly take them off meat proteins and work in more plant based foods.

Cats are carnivores and should not be restricted to a vegan diet. I would never force my cat to be vegan, THAT would be animal abuse; cats are not designed to survive on a vegan diet.

Cats are true carnivores, it’s bad enough on their stomachs that the dry food we often feed them contains wheat or filler.

I do not agree with cats becoming vegan. It’s a part of their natural diet to eat meat: birds, mice, bats, etc. Dogs can eat veggies and some fruit, but I don’t believe cats can. I wouldn’t try it!

I am against cats becoming vegans and will never advocate for it. But I always say if you totally insist on having a vegan cat ALWAYS consult a animal nutritionist before doing ANYTHING to any animal’s diet.
