Deviled eggs are a crazy mess of all the things that made me want to go vegan. The only good things about them are they’re easy to eat and kinda salty, so here are some vegan versions that will rock that easy salty crave. 😉

    Deviled Potatoes
From Paul Jarvis via The Daily Meal
    mustard seeds
    nutritional yeast
cashew cream (recipe included) or vegan mayonnaise

According to the Rules of the Interwebs, you shouldn’t post someone else’s entire recipe, only part of it with a link to the rest, unless you’ve changed the recipe up bigtime.

    Vegan variations…

If it’s egg salad you’d rather have, grab a loaf of bread cuz peta2’s got it…Tofu Egg-Salad Sandwich

You can use regular salt or amp up the eggy taste with Black Salt (also known as Kala Namak). This stuff smells and tastes like real eggs so use it if you miss that or you are trying to impress non-vegans with your clever vegan cooking. 😉
You can buy it online or in Indian food stores or spice stores.

Do you miss the taste of eggs? How do you get your vegan egg fix? Would you serve deviled eggs as an appetizer or just chomp on them for lunch? 🙂

I never even knew what deviled eggs were!

I don’t really miss the taste of egg since going vegan but I’ve tried things like vegan scrambled egg and eggy bread which are ok occasionally.
