Almonds, cashews, peanuts, pecans, walnuts, even macadamia nuts all have their special day…but not the humble hazelnut! They’re supersnackable and yumful in all sorts of recipes so today we’re rockin’ Hazelnut Day!
BTW…some people call them filberts. :)

Note: most recipes recommend roasting and peeling hazelnuts to give them a richer taste. It’s easy!

Have you had hazelnuts? Are you a nutella nut? What else would you cover with chocolate and chopped hazelnuts?

@danny4 You could use butterscotch chips…that would make them all punked-out spikeycool!

@alexblue The combo comes in a snack pack called ‘Jaffa Cake’ because when you eat them all together they do taste like a Jaffa Cake (a non-vegan snack available here in the UK).
Many of our supermarkets sell various infused raisins, I like it’s to make kids eat more fruit; the cola-flavour infused raisins taste lovely!!

@LittleLotte I’ve never tried orange-infused raisins…I googled and they don’t seem to be sold here. Maybe I can figure out a way to make them. :)
The hazelnut/choc/orange raisin combo sounds superyumful!

I’m not a fan of nuts generally but hazelnuts taste good if you mix them with some dark chocolate and orange-infused raisins!
