Superdelicious stuff…crazystrange name. Actually names, because it’s called differently things depending on your hometown, your family recipe, plus your own wicked spin on it…buckle, cobbler, crumble, crisp, grunt, pandowdy, slump. Take your pick as long as it includes apples, vegan butter, sugar and some sort of yumfully crumby crunch.

We visited the farmer’s market this morning and got some freakinamazing apples…they’re called Zestar and they’re organic and supersweet, slightly tangy and perfectly Fallapplecrunchy! I’m going back for baking apples though so I can bake a Betty…the Zestars are just too good to cook. Plus they have awesome vegan bread there too! I love farmer’s markets.
