I’m shy, too. Like, really shy. I did join an animal rights club a my school, however, and I am hoping I can really help it make a difference .

It sounds like you don’t quite understand the purpose of TNR programs.

Creating, or participating in, a TNR (trap neuter return) program is an awesome way to directly prevent a great deal of pain and suffering offline.

Well talk to your principle and start advertising an animal rights group. You can make fliers and get a couple of people who are also interested. Find out what requires you need to figure out first. Every school is different.

Agreed! I’m really, REALLY shy. I do volunteer, but I still feel I’m not doing enough. My shyness acts as a huge barrier to me helping the animals.

Try starting an Animal Activist at school.

I am all for online activism but it doesn’t seem like it’s nearly enough. I would love to meet others in my community that are vegetarians and vegans but I’m so shy I do not know where to even begin. I’m signing up to volunteer at animal shelters though. Any other ideas?
