    ok well halfway worked they agreed to let me vegetarian at least but ill keep pushing the point thanks again everyone!

    Thanks for wanting to help animals by going vegan!

    If your parents are giving you a hard time about wanting to go vegan, be sure to check out our page on how to talk to them about it here: http://www.peta2.com/lifestyle/talking-veganism-parents/ Once they see how much healthier it is and how much it means to you, I’m sure they’ll be much more open to the idea of it.

    Try cooking some vegan recipes with them or going shopping with them to give them an idea of what kind of foods you can eat! Remember, a lot of the foods you all are already eating are vegan: pasta with tomato sauce, French fries, peanut butter and jelly, rice and bean burritos with guacamole, bagels, etc. Check out all these yummy recipe ideas for some inspiration! http://www.peta2.com/recipes/ :)
