I checked the label on the oriental flavor of ramen noodles and it contains “beef extract” and milk. not veg friendly at all. i’m actually pretty upset this was listed on this site, i’m really glad i read the label before eating it.
And sure, if they don’t have the Top Ramen Oriental flavor you can have just the noodles without the packet. If you have Nutritional Yeast, try some of that on there (after draining the noodles). Or try some garlic and/or onion powders (or sauté the real stuff and throw it in after draining the noodles!). Or, use your own vegetable broth–either store-bought or homemade.
