I was inspired to post this mini recipe by @shelbykilljoyy for posting her ramen recipe.
Note: I came up with recipe one night because I was craving pizza but didn’t have the money for it and was too lazy to pull out my recipe cards for pizza crust.
1/2 pack of ramen (no seasoning packet, never used them anyways too much salt)
1/2 – 1 cup veggie crumbles
Mozzarella cheese or vegan mozzarella cheez for our vegan friends.
Heat the veggie crumbs via package directions and set aside.
Make ramen via package direction.
Remove from heat and drain water, return to heat and add veggie crumbles and pizza sauce (as little or as much as you’d like.)
Stir occasionally for even heating.
Serve in dish of your choice and top with as much “mozzarella” as desired.
And there you have what I have dubbed pizza ramen. =)
I love using ramen because your possibilities with it are endless and it’s a wonderful ingredient if your on a budget and can’t spend a lot of money on shopping trips.
