I was going to post this in reply to another topic but I didn’t want to seem like I was attacking the poster I just want to get out my own frustrations over giant corporations.
yep that is one of the many crappy reasons about everything being owned by a few giant corporations today it is basically impossible to boycott a product as they are making money off so much other things they don’t really even care. Here is an example with just some of the corporations:
So basically it is near impossible in today’s society to not give money to corporations you are boycotting at the same time. You want to boycott KFC they are owned by Yum! you want to boycott Yum! they are owned by Pepsico, it is pretty hard to avoid all products owned or partially owned by Pepsico. Just from this image I know that MARS, P&G, Johnson & Johnson, & Nestle all have products that test on animals and those are the ones I know. That’s like even if you try to buy products that are particularly made for vegans etc they too can be owned by corporations. Like I used to love Tom’s of Maine as it wasn’t tested on animals, made with natural ingredients with no added crap, packaged in recycled material etc. yea well now since 2006 84% of the company is owned by Colgate-Palmolive who does test on animals etc.
Yea I understand it is just annoying. I don’t like big corporations for many reasons though. I would still definitely buy say Tom’s of Maine over other Colgate products so they know that is what customers want etc.
