Get some pressed tofu and cut them into 3 inch strips. Meanwhile saute some minced garlic in some vegetable oil on medium. Throw in the tofu and add salt, pepper, and paprika to taste until the tofu is golden brown. Enjoy.
If your tofu comes packaged in liquid, you need to press the tofu to get the liquid out:
Open the package and take out the tofu block…dump the liquid, ditch the package.
Put the tofu block on a big plate or in a big bowl.
Put a flat plate or cutting board on top of the tofu.
Put a book on top of the flat plate/cutting board to weigh it down a bit.
Wait about a half hour for the liquid to be squished out of the tofu.
Dump the liquid and use the tofu however you want.
(Some people put paper towels under the tofu to absorb the liquid…it’s easier to just toss the paper towels than to dump the liquid off the plate but I kinda think it wastes paper towels.)
