Yeah, people are pretty horrible when they wanna be. I can understand not wanting to be guilty- after all, who /wants/ to know that they’re partially responsible for the suffering and killing of all of these animals, which are fully capable of thinking and feeling, not unlike us? Who wants to take credit for all of the horrendous experiments we do on them for trivial things, like makeup? Who wants to stand up and say “it’s my fault” that the meat industry is poisoning our planet? The answer- nobody. Everybody blames everyone else.

“It’s not my fault. It’s the butcher’s, for killing the animal.”
“It’s not my fault. I wouldn’t be killing this animal if I didn’t have to make a living.”
“It’s not my fault. I can’t control what they do in labs.”
“It’s not my fault. Getting humans to test the product is too expensive.”
“It’s not my fault. Besides, that’s not the only thing causing global warming.”
“It’s not my fault. Not to mention the fact that we don’t even know if human activities are causing this for certain.”

What’s true is that we all need to own up to our mistakes. It’s everyone’s fault in some way, whether it be letting it slide, supporting it by buying from companies that do it, or doing it ourselves. The question isn’t so much who’s to blame- blame isn’t constructive. It wastes valuable energy. The question is, what are we going to do about it now that we have a problem? We all need to work together. As a group. It’s the only thing that will work. Everyone on this site has the right idea, but more people need to become aware, and into it- so let’s dust off our shoes and hit the trail- we can tell people in person, over the internet, it doesn’t matter. We just need to get the word out, and then band together. We can change this. Don’t ever be fooled into thinking that small groups of dedicated people have never changed the world- they’re the only things that ever have.

People dont believe in ghost because they dont want them to exist. People dont believe in the world ending in 2012 because they dont want the world to end. However, with meat and abuse, its different. People dont believe animals are abused behind the scenes of there favourite movie because they dont *want* to know, even subcontiosly, they are going about promoting and supporting animal abuse. People dont believe animals are unnecasarlly abused from birth to slaughter house because they dont *want* to give up there preciuse meat. People dont believe there favourite makeup brand rubs there mascara in there supposovly favourite animals eye because they think they cant live with out mascara and looking like a cake.
Not believing in ghost? Socially acceptable. Not believing in 2012? Socially acceptable. Not believing that supporting animal abuse is ok? Wrong. That way of living apperently is wrong, wrong, wrong. It can take like *five* years just to make people stop throwing ham in your face and sneaking up behind you and putting a bunny’s skin on your head (thats my story in like 30 words) Somehow in todays societty removing an inanimate object from a store has become worse then rubbing makeup in a bunnies eyes or cutting off a cows horns.
Now, if anyones societty is different, and no one in your whole city/town supports animal abuse, good for you, please dont bitch out at me, cuz in my five years lf being a vegitarian never have i once met a vegan much less someone for animal rights, And Ive known alot of people
