Did anyone else get this response?
Thank you for expressing your concerns about using animals in teaching environments at the University of Colorado Boulder.

We believe our policies and procedures that govern the use of animals in teaching and research represent best practices in American higher education, and follow federal government guidelines. We also believe that the animals in our care are treated humanely.

We invite you to visit our animal care and use policies web site to learn more about our procedures at http://www.colorado.edu/VCResearch/integrity/animalcare/Policy.html

Thank you again for your communication to me.

It makes me so sad that people can just pass off the abuse that they know is happening, or the people that simply don’t want to put much effort to really learn the truth..
