Thank you for sharing! I have found that people often think that rhinos and elephants don’t have to be killed for their ivory. This is false. People need to know that poachers do not just cut off the tusk or horn of the animal, they actually kill the animal to obtain the ivory.
Poaching rhinos for their horns is barbaric, especially since rhinos are endangered. I think that the RRP treatment is effective and should teach greedy, cruel people a lesson! The poison isn’t lethal, so I don’t see why it should not be used, and it will discourage those people from killing rhinos for their horns, especially because no one will buy the horns anymore! I think that this method is smart and successful, and the best part- it doesn’t harm the animals! Thanks for writing the article, I learned a lot! 🙂
