Now I believe that all of my clothes are vegan considering I don’t wear anything too complicated and I’ve been keeping my eyes open to buy cosmetics not tested on animals, ( i get a lot of bath and body works things because they dont test on animals) But! a about a year and a half maybe two years ago before i was vegi, i bought chuck taylors and doc martins. Heres the problem theyre still fine shoes nothing wrong with them. But I know they arent animal friendly. Everything tells me to not throw away perfectly fine shoes, what should I do here?

I still have some things from before I was vegan and I’ll keep wearing them until they’re finished with really. I know its not really good practice but if you don’t want to waste them or lose the money by giving them away then either sell them on or keep them :) and then just buy vegan from now on.

When I went vegan, I either sold/gave away my non-vegan items if I could easily get replacements but some of the things (like expensive boots) I decided to just keep until they wear out.

Everything I had before being vegan, wool, silk, etc., I’ve saved for my next garage sale. I don’t feel right wearing things that are made from animals, but I’m also not wealthy and I’m not just going to toss things. But I still refuse to EVER wear that stuff. Good luck with your decision!

I really cannot say much because there are so many details. I have a new favorite song every day... I am the sterotypical nerd/dork. I absolutley adore horror/gore films, documentaries, and foreign films. I love Edgar Allan Poe, William Shakspeare and Charles Dickens. You could say that i dont have a life because i spend most of my time writing papers, reading, and listening music. I know all these randomn, insane facts. I am what some may call a conspiricy theorist. Even describing myself is a lot. So i guess if you have any questions just ask :D
