Today I was browsing the frozen veggie burgers at my local grocery store and there was a guy about my age there too. He looked familiar and when he finally turned around I realized it was a kid who goes to my school that I’ve known since elementary school but never really KNOWN you know?
Anyway, he’s holding a pack of Boca veg burgers and he sees me and goes “Oh hey! Um..do you know if these are any good?” so I gave him my opinion and we talked for a little while and it turns out he’s trying to go vegan! It blew me away because I totally did not have him pegged as a veg but I was really excited!
He said he has been considering it for about a year now and has decided its time to do something! I thought this was so cool. Mainly because I really would not have expected him to be that way especially because, as I remember from elementary school, he was very hard headed and not really look at other points of view.
I guess I just goes to show that people change and that you shouldn’t stereotype people.
Because they might just surprise you.
