So, I’ve been wanting to try to be vegan, but I can’t because of soymilk. I tried Silk (both the blue and red cartons) and I had this itchy feeling in my throat. It was kinda annoying, but I didn’t have to go to the emergency room or anything… o.o It wasn’t a serious problem, but I just want to know whether this is normal or if its an allergy or something of that nature. Thanks!

You can try almond milk. I strongly recommend the brand Almond Breeze. Its cheap and comes i two flavors, the original and vanilla. The vanilla flavor one is by far the best!

If soymilk is whats keeping you from going vegan… then there is nothing keeping you from going vegan.
There are plenty of alternatives, and they all cost about the same as soymilk.

I DESPISE soymilk, but if I have to drink it, Silk is the only brand I can stand. Almond milk is easily my favorite. The Silk brand almond is ok, it’s just super thick and super sweet. If you can get Almond Breeze for the Aldi brand almond, it’s awesome.

Everyone is different, just try different types of milk and different brands and see what you like.
