I always loved eating meat, till me and my girlfriend got together and she’s big on peta and showed me videos and everything, so its because of her i knew how bad animals got treated and which is so wrong. but thanks for some solutions!!!
It’s great that you’ve decided to go vegetarian! Iron-rich foods include beans, black-eyed peas, lentils, chickpeas, oatmeal, dried fruits, nuts, sunflower seeds, nutritional yeast, molasses, and grains such as quinoa and millet. Be sure to check out our vegan guide to good nutrition here: http://www.peta2.com/blog/a-vegans-guide-to-good-nutrition/
I have Anemia which is an iron-deficiency disorder, this is from not eating meat. I take iron suppliments which you can get at any local drugstore, just ask the Pharmacist. I suggest you go get a blood test though and ask your doctor how much you need to take to get your levels back to normal. Telling them your a vegetarian is a good idea and they usually give you ideas on how to live healthy not eating meat. Hope this helps : )
