I know that it is shocking. Months before this had happened I had went into the same Subway to pick up a sandwich for my sister and the worker (same one who months later was rude to me yet again) told me I was to fat and that I did not need a sandwich.
I have complained about her many times both to the manager and on the Subway Website.

I have heard the woman say before to her co-workers in her own words ‘That girl doens’t like our race’.
It is not true, I have no problem with race or gender or beliefs though I do have a problem with how one treats others and this woman is nice to everyone but myself.

Before the last time I was in this Subway I had went there many times with my mother, no trouble at all but when I am on my own it feels as though it is high school and I am the nerd she is free to pick on.

@EnchantedBeginnings –go on the subway website and file a complaint! They take that sort of thing seriously. All employees are required to wash their hands and change gloves if a customer requests it–even if they’ve just done it out of sight or whether they want to or not.

@EnchantedBeginnings I hope you put in an official complaint about that staff member, that’s shocking!

Sometimes the staff asked if I’d like them to change their gloves, other times they just do it which is what they should be doing anyway.

I am unsure about this but make sure they change the gloves they wear!
I went into my local Subway and ordered myself a veggie sandwich but the worker making my sandwich did not change gloves even though I asked her to, she refused and started to make the sandwich so I of course flate out told her I was not going to eat the sandwich she was currently making for the matter of her not changing her gloves.
You see it is not only that before she was touching meat and such but the person before me had ordered mushrooms and I am allergic to them.
So it was not to be rude about the meat but rather I did not feel like having my throat swell closed due to the mushrooms.
And to top off this the worker said for me to never show my face at her work place again for I was being rude to her.
So now I avoid Subways all together.

There’s a link here for all dietary restrictions. Also, most Subways are trained to get a fresh knife, wipe down the cutting board at your request if you really want to be sure there’s no traces of any animal products in your sandwich. I personally don’t get too anal so long as the food I’m purchasing and eating is cruelty free, but just fyi.

I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not the bread at Subway is vegan? It’s the closest to my job so I eat Veggie sandwiches there every day, so I was wondering if my bread is cruelty-free, too? Is there an option that IS vegan? Thanks!
