Following the RSPCA’s successful prosecution of the Heythrop Hunt for breaking the law on hunting with hounds, it has come under attack from hunt supporters in an effort to discredit its name. The most recent attempt is a debate in parliament on Tuesday 29 January on the role of the RSPCA in taking private prosecutions in pursuit of its charitable objectives, sponsored by Simon Hart MP (ex-Chief Exec of the Countryside Alliance).
Please email your MP and urge him or her to support the RSPCA’s vital prosecution work in this debate: http://www.rspca.org.uk/in-action/whatwedo/prosecution/defend
