    When I’m staying away from home, I see if the hotel room comes with a kettle, if not then I take a mini travel one and plenty of pot-noodle type snacks!

    @amarie
    Great suggestions from sarrie…Dr. McD’s are superyumful! I also always take a jar of almond butter or peanut butter and my favorite bagels on any trip I take, and roasted soy nuts or roasted chickpeas for snackin on.
    Congrats on the new job…good luck!! :)

    You could bring some crackers or chips that are vegan, like popchips or spicy sweet chili Doritos. You could also take some nuts or trail mix. Fruit, vegetables, dried fruit, oriental ramen noodles or Dr. McDougall’s vegan noodles/soups which I really like. If you took a cooler or something you could take refrigerated food you usually eat, or things that last longer without having to be kept very cold the whole time like hummus.
    When I went on my trip to Florida last month I took a cooler with me and just brought things like edamame hummus (the first time I had some, I think it’s wonderful), cut up peppers and other vegetables for my hummus, fruit, instant noodles, crackers and chips, and some trail mix
    You could also get some things at a store when you’re there like some of the things listed here http://www.peta.org/living/food/accidentally-vegan/
