So magnificent are they in the ocean
The dolphins who leap and splash
But while all of the dolphins are beautiful
Some are worth double the cash

For today is dolphin roundup day
For a water park in Japan
With millions of annual patrons
From places all over the land

The visitors come with their wallets open
All ready to watch and eat
With five dollar tickets and ten dollar lunches
Everyone’s in for a treat

The dolphin trainers notice a mother
They think that she’s simply beautiful
She tries to avoid them, they take her baby
Her choice is then indisputable

Here comes a mother and baby dolphin
With lackluster worthy of scorn
Neither seems very intelligent, either
Thus both of them won’t perform

Yes, the trainers do pick all they can

And after the chosen are taken away
The others are herded as well
They have no idea what is happening

They’re brought away to a hidden cove
