Maybe she didn’t have enough support. I find it hard to think of people who can turn off their compassion like a light switch. You can’t “un-see” the videos and images of animal abuse at the hands of humans.

@VeganCaramel, I feel the same. I’m glad that she was able to inspire you, @Sagojyou to go vegan before she gave up on it herself.

Do you know her reasons?

I have a tote bag that says: ‘Never Trust an Ex Vegan’. Totally true.

Do you know why she quit? If so, is it anything you can support her with to get her back on track?

“Quitting” veganism: I never understood how anyone could do it. I mean, they of all people probably know the thousands of reasons to be vegan, they can’t claim ignorance. They know but they don’t even care. It’s sick. I’ve never met anyone who “used to be vegan”, but if I did I should think that they had forfeited any scrap of decency they had as a human being.

That inspired me to be vegetarian, then vegan (she was both before me) has given up on veganism.

See, she’s one of those people that doesn’t like to tell people that she stopped doing something she was passionate about. When I found this out, I was kind of disappointed, because she was the one that got me into veganism (best thing that ever happened! Just saying!) and she quit. I was like “)@#(*()$@#*%?!”

Oh well. At least I’m still vegan. And many of you on here are too So I know I’m not alone
