Hi, I am vegetarian (and lacto-free) and seem to always be hungry, no matter what, when, or how much I eat. Are there better foods that could tide me over?
I am known as a picky eater to my family because I don’t like meats or cheese or fast food. As far as veggie foods, I don’t like beans, tomatoes, or melons.
I’m a pickier eater than you and I eat kefir (99% lacto free), apples and peanut butter, popcorn, gluten free waffles, strawberries, peanut butter and jelly, veggie burgers (find a brand you like), rice, smoothies, and drinking more water
If you’re picky because of the texture of foods then try preparing and eating them different ways. For example, I can’t stand bananas but I will happily have them in a smoothie as I can’t feel the sliminess! Or if you don’t like something cooked, try it raw (and vice-versa).
I use meals with rice, bc it makes me feel fuller longer 🙂 And if u don’t like plain white rice, then u can spice it up with ur fave spice of choice- personally I like to use curry powder, or put it in a stir fry 🙂
