• Trader Joe's Part 4: Roasted Coconut Chips!

I saw someone in the hallways eating it, and I thought I’d give it a try.

“Crafted in small batches in Thailand, where the coconuts grow, Trader Joe’s Roasted Coconut Chips are dry roasted (dry roasting = no added oils), dusted with a bit of salt and lightly sweetened. A concentrated blend of sliced coconuts, fresh coconut milk and coconut juice gives them intense coconut flavor, bite after crunchy bite.”

Took a handful and took a bite and I thought “….? Meh.” It was “meh” because I expected something sweet. But that hint of salt kind of makes it not as good as it could possibly be. They’re like tortilla chips, but a lot smaller and a biiiiiit chewer. I’ve had better tasting coconut food. I guess it just wasn’t sweet enough to my liking. I give it a 6/10. But if you like semi-salted sweet coconut that are crunchy, you could give it a try :D
