So for some reason the Vegetarian Society fell off the face of the Earth at my school and I know there are students who may want to help animals. I want to start a group where we can meet up weekly or biweekly to figure out ways to inform people about animal rights and welfare issues such as animal testing, the food industry, the fur industry, etc. I contacted the information booth at my school and they gave me a link of steps I need to take. http://www.winthrop.edu/studentorgs/default.aspx?id=5831

So far the biggest issue is trying to find a teacher who could be an adviser for the club. Also I have to work on a constitution and set of by-laws for the club. Help please?

I do want to start a club on Animals rights at my high school since it’s a small school and Christian based. However, I have a problem trying to get word out.

@LittleLotte Yeah, I emailed her. She gave me a few names. It turns out though someone else is trying to revive the Vegetarian Society so we are joining forces to start up both clubs.

Do you know which teacher was the adviser for the previous Veg Soc group? They might help you out with your new group. Also, they should be able to offer tips for working out a constitution etc.
