I’d call the place and ask that they properly train their staff on the ingredients used in their foods, also explaining the experience that I had there.

Just make sure you ask specific questions. Especially for things like sauces and soups and what not. “Is the sauce prepared with the meat? ” You know. ^.^ Hang in there. You can always call ahead.

If I were you, I would try finding a way to contact the owner of the restaurant and complain as this is not right at all; especially when you specified that you do NOT want meat. Try not to worry too much about it, as this is nothing you did wrong. You weren’t consciously making a decision to eat meat, so you are not at fault; the restaurant is.

I went to a restraunt, and when I ordered my food I made it specifically clear I don’t eat meat, and she assured me there is no meat in the sauce. I was about to take “another” bite, when there it is. A chunk if meat. I asked and they told me they let meatballs float in the sauce. I don’t know what to do.
