• Veg Zombie Party – Food ideas?

So, Wednesday my cousin is coming over and we’re going to throw a vegan/vegetarian zombie party (mainly for tradition: whenever one of us moves we are required to watch a zombie movie in their new house and we fell asleep last time). My boyfriend and my brother will probably be invited too. Food suggestions? I’m looking for easy and quick here, comrades.

How about severed finger sandwiches? Basically you make strawberry jam/jelly sandwiches then cut them into finger shapes. Garnish with almonds to make finger nails. Very cheap, very easy, very zombie-themed!

Here are two quick and easy recipes that I found on http://www.mysillymonkies.com. (I modified a few ingredients to make them vegan).
Zombie Punch: In a large punch bowl, mix together 1/2 gallon of Limeade and 1 liter of Sprite. Add several scoops of vegan lime sorbet and serve chilled for a delightfully green beverage! :)
Cemetery Dip: Empty a container of hummus (any flavor) onto a large serving platter. Cut several slices of dark pumpernickle bread into tombstone shapes. Arrange the pieces onto a cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes on 350 degrees. Stick them into the hummus and serve with a variety of fresh veggies.

    hmm..
I don’t know it sounds fun though! Knowing me I would think of the things that are really cute and creative but take a good amount of time.

Artichoke Spinach dip and sourdough bread!
Plus, you can do a lot of accidentally vegan stuff so if your boyfriend and brother aren’t already vegan, they’ll see how easy it is! Some suggestions:
    1) Oreos
    2) Famous Amos Cookies
    3) Fritos
    4) Lay’s or Ruffles Potato Chips
    5) Onion Rings
    6) French Fries
    7) Pretzels

Spinach dip! All you need is tofutti sour cream (for it to be vegan), one of those spinach dip mixes they sell at super markets, and depending on the directions on the packet some require frozen chopped spinach and some don’t. I personally think the ones that you put extra spinach in is better, but they’re both good. Then you just mix everything together and you can let it sit in the fridge for an hour for it to taste even better or you can just eat it right after you mix it with some chips, bread, or crackers. (:

I really cannot say much because there are so many details. I have a new favorite song every day... I am the sterotypical nerd/dork. I absolutley adore horror/gore films, documentaries, and foreign films. I love Edgar Allan Poe, William Shakspeare and Charles Dickens. You could say that i dont have a life because i spend most of my time writing papers, reading, and listening music. I know all these randomn, insane facts. I am what some may call a conspiricy theorist. Even describing myself is a lot. So i guess if you have any questions just ask :D

I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.
