What are some easy things I can buy in ANY grocery store? I don’t want to always spend a lot of time on meals or doing anything fancy. What are some simple things I can buy for meals and for snacks/ingredients?
I usually buy some fresh veggies and fruit along with almond milk. Rice, beans, and tortillas are great staples that can be useful for wraps, tacos, etc. They are pretty cheap and filling if you are on a tight budget. A bag of lentils can be as little as $.60 and a great source of protein and iron. I buy about two containers of tofu a month and they are usually found in most grocery stores. They make good meat replacers I think and good for some meal ideas. I usually get canned beans when I’m lazy because I actually drain them and just make a simple salad with them. Hope that helps.
