I need a lifestyle change, Vegetarian is just not enough for me any more, but I am on a very tight budget as I am on a minimum wage job and don’t have many hours.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with vegan foods on a budget and where to get them.

I know obviously fruits, veggies, pasta, noodle, rice, ect.
I just need a little more info on substitutes that can be used and that will keep for a while, and not just go off in a couple of days like fruit will,

    Thank you in advance.

Holland and Barrett (and other health food shops) sell things like dry soya chunks and dry soya mince that you can keep in your cupboards for ages (just soak them in water before using). If you buy them when they’re on BOGOF or the penny sale then they’ll last you months!

Most supermarkets sell Linda McCartney products in the fridge and freezer sections, some of which are vegan, but many also do their own label faux meat products such as frozen mince, sausages, burgers etc. (just be sure to check labels). I’ve found that many of the value freezer shops (Iceland, Heron etc.) sometimes have cheap frozen vegan foods too.
