My doctor strongly recommends that I go back to eating meat because I have a vitamin B12 deficiency… Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any other vegetarian foods I can eat to get B12?

A lot of foods like soya milk, cereals etc. are fortified with B12, and there’s studies that show these are better than meat:
“Tucker et al. (2000, USA) found that vitamin B12 from fortified breakfast cereals and dairy products was associated with better vitamin B12 status than was B12 intake from red meat, poultry, and fish, leading the researchers to suspect that the B12 from meat might be damaged by cooking.”

Just take a supplement if your doctor is worried ūüėČ
