I read this story on Care2 and shared it on one of the boards. This was in NY right? Cops need to remember their cause.

LMAO……..I read “COW SHOOTS DOG THAT PROTECTS OWNER”………I was a bit disappointed when I realized my mistake to be honest actually recently there was a StarFest here (nerdy astronomer campout) and the website said something like “Barking dogs will be shot.” and I contacted them about it and apparently it was just a poorly constructed joke and they changed it……yay for sharing useless information?

Oky here are the facts

the Owner a homeless man was having seizures the cops were trying to get to him to render Help
The dog Bit a women bystander before going after the cop
the cop had every right to shoot the dog it was coming at him in a agressive matter

MY only problem with this is the cop did not shoot to kill as Is obvious by the dog still alive Thrashing in pain He should have quickly shot it again and Put it out of its Misery.
