    @alliehill
    It may be B12 or D3. That may need a doublecheck.

    You can buy DEVA vegan vitamins and VegLife online, as well as other vegan vitamin brands. :)

    If you’re also worried about B16 get some nutritional yeast. You cook it with your food and get all the nourishment. Pretty cheap and delicious!

    What I meant by “not needing supplements” is you can find B12 and other hard-to-get vitamins with foods, such as soy/almond/rice milk, that are fortified with them. I wasn’t sure if that were clear in my post, since I have a habit of not explaining things clearly.

    You don’t necessarily need supplements, although they can be helpful. If you have a Wegman’s store near you (not sure where you live), then they will probably have what you are looking for. However, you can obtain B12 from cereals and soy/almond/rice milks, as well as Yves meatless products (Yves Good Dogs, lunchmeats, etc.)

    Depends on where you live.
    For me, it’s cheaper and more convenient to purchase supplements online.
    The “NOW” brand is the brand that I usually get.
    They sell vegan and non-vegan products.
    For their vegan products, there will usually be an indication on the product page or on an image of the product container.
    If you’re interested in one of their products but aren’t sure if it’s vegan, you can search for the product at their site or contact them and they’ll let you know.
    I purchase from whichever online store has the best price.
    AllStarHealth usually has the best price and they usually ship fast too.

    Hi @melscrazee!

    You can also try vegan fortified milks like soy, rice, or almond to get your B12. :)

    I use Veglife, I have found it online and at whole foods. I haven’t looked at the ones you mentioned, but our local grocery store didn’t have it.

    Trader Joe’s sells a vegan B-complex supplement and there is another called Vitamin Code. http://www.rawvitamins.us.com/ I’ve seen these at health food stores and GNC can probably order them.

    Im 17 years old about to turn 18. I have been vegetarian since I could remember. Tried meat for a year when I was about 14 and then stopped. I drink wine every once in a while if you were wondering about my profile pic. Yes I am classy like that. Anyway, stop animal cruelty and support gay rights and marriage equality!
