@SassyVegan pretty much says it. If you dont speak up, then nothing will be done.

Oh my gosh, that’s awful and gross. But you can’t be afraid to speak up to your camp counselors. If they really don’t listen, then you could try calling your parents. Tell them what’s going on and ask THEM to give the head of your camp a call to explain the situation. I wish you the best of luck!!

Help please.
I’m going to a camp. It was really fun… Until late today. They were measuring the brain waves of a crayfish, and it was still struggling when they stuck in the pins (they had anethetized the cricket and the shrimp, but they didn’t do it completely with the crayfish because its brain waves weren’t as strong because they hadn’t found a good spot where the brain waves were strong yet). The day before, our camp had a long discussion about the ethics about using animals for food, experiments, where she said that most can’t suffer (only she said it all scientificaly), talked a lot about respect for life, drawing the line, etc. After all that, I didn’t dare mention it today. We’ll probably have to do more animal experiments other days, though. Help? Advice on what to do–and how to get that crayfish’s struggles out of my head? D=
