I am in a bit of a bind. I am trying to switch all of mine and my mother’s cleaning supplies for products which are cruelty free but I am not sure which ones would be the best.
Also they have to be cheap because I know some things can be as high as a the sky when wanting something that works good with out paying to much for them.

@EnchantedBeginnings, I usually go with method which is available at Target. The area I live in doesn’t offer much of a wide variety of vegan products to choose from. I do recommend using Eco Nuts in place of laundry detergent. Very cheap, eco-friendly, & effective. http://econutssoap.com/

Best of luck to you! :)

    I forgot about this website:
    http://vegancuts.com/shop
I looked through and they have laundry detergent i think. But they also have alot of things for your skin, like oils, cream, and even makeup remover.

Do you have any health food stores around? Or check online. I went into the health food store near me and they totally had vegan glass cleaner for $4.

I live in the United States though really I live in Alabama so not the best of places to get good products since the nearest store is Wal*Mart.

Which country are you in? I can offer UK advice but know nothing about America’s (or any other country!) cleaning products.

I used seventh generation as they have bathroom cleaners, dish detergents, floor cleaners and most are at Walmart for $3. I use Ecos laundry detergent.

I am just trying to make sure that my cruelty free life style can be a little bit more so affective on my mother with out her really knowing.

Please remember though that I am on a budget and so can not pay a lot of money for the items I am switching.

I have already changed my Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Tooth Paste, Chap Stick, Lotion and Face Cleanser.

Such items I need to switch out would be.

    Dish Liquid
    Toilet Cleaner
    Floor Cleaner
Laundry Detergent (I am not sure if SUN is still cruelty free or not)
Fabric Softener (The question about the Laundry Detergent is the same for this as well)
Dryer Sheets (Still unsure if SUN is cruelty free or not)

If you can think of more then please feel free to post them.
