If you don’t eat meat there is perception that you are missing out. Missing out on fillet steak, missing out on protein, missing out on a Big Mac… But how much meat are you missing out on when it comes to fast food burgers?

    Read the full blog here:

I think the most remarkable, but not unsurprising fact, from the story is this:
“pathologists found that the meat content in burgers ranged from 2.1% to 14.8%.”

I’m so glad I’m vegan, it means I know exactly what I’m eating, and I know that it’s healthy too. I can still treat myself to ‘fast food’ but not worry about the contents of my meal.

It pays to know your food. If they were to list all of that on the package, no one would buy it. Cartilage, bones, and blood vessels don’t sound very appetizing. The other day my boyfriend pulled out a bone from his mouth after getting halfway through a fish sandwich and he felt nauseated the rest of the night. I’m so glad I don’t eat that crap anymore.
