Hi! I’m new 😀 I was wondering where the best place to buy animals would be? I know there’s a lot of talk about not buying them from pet stores, but why is that? And what about breeders? Are animal shelters the best bet?

Pet stores sell dogs that come from Puppy Mills which are sickly and often die after being bought cats & other animals are also sickly.. Adopting saves life’s and the animal will be forever grateful.

But what about the types of animals you can’t get from anywhere but pet stores? Is it okay to buy them from there then?

Actually the animals already in the pet stores don’t live too horribly. It has to be presentable enough since they are in public eye and people always come in and are petting them an giving them attention. If you buy animals from pet stores you are “sacrificing” a lot more animals and putting a lot more animals to live in misery.

We also are already protesting against multiple pet stores. Really all pet stores but a few specific major ones. This is also why we support spaying and neutering.

Wait so we sacrifice a few animal’s lives for the good of the others? I don’t see how that’s ethical either… just letting them stay there in the pet stores and be treated badly. Why not do something about it? Protest? Inform them that what they are doing is wrong?
