    @Dutchy126 There is plenty of proof out there that chickens (and other non-human animals) feel fear (as well as other complex “human” emotions). And even if they didn’t feel fear the same way as we do (or feel it at all) then that’s no reason to carry on slaughtering them this way; we’re better than that.

    Wait, what? Oh, yea.. @Dagmar – great post. I agree with @LittleLotte, “humane slaughter” is a huge oxymoron. It simply is not humane to steal a life, human.. or not. Thanks for sharing! :)

    “Humane slaughter” IS a bunch of bullshit. Like really, what is “humane” about slaughter? I really wish this made more sense to people. :/
