Isn’t keeping a turtle as a pet illegal in some places?

The only time interfering with a wild turtle’s life is acceptable is when it is in the road, or being harassed by other animals, or flipped over on it’s back.

Yeah, turtles should probably just be on their own unless their injured. She should just let them in her yard at home but let them go off wherever, they need certain things that she probably can not give them.

What is your opinion on taking turtles you find in the wild and keeping them as pets? I recently had a friend who saw two box turtles and took them home to keep as pets. I was pretty outraged about it when I found out. >..<
