Just do it. That’s what I did and they gave in lol

Mine said no as well, but I didn’t care it was my choice. After all it is my body I should have a say so as to what goes in it. I just stopped eating it, my mom would put it on my plate, and I would leave it there. She eventually got the hint.

My parents said no before too but I told them how healthy it was and that there are substitutions and they let me. I’m a vegan now

If you want to be a vegetarian you can do it! When I told my parents they got really mad at me and said I was being stupid. But when I stopped eating meats, they got used to it. I also showed them “Meet Your Meat” and they understood (at least somewhat) why I wished to be a vegetarian.

Just show them that vegetarian meals are healthy and you do get the essentials without eating meat. I’m sure they’ll understand and good luck!

show them healthy recipes online. my parents didn’t want me to become a vegetarian because they thought i’d mess up my health, but after showing them healthy and filling recipes they opened up to it a bit more.

try to tell family why u want to go vegetarian

This may sound extreme, but if you’re completely out of ideas, simply stop eating meat, to show them that it’s possible to have a healthy diet without it. Make your own food, such as pb&j or soup. My cousin did this, and after a week her parents came around, and really supported her. Good Luck!

thanks for hep me, but i try to take pictures to them videos and i also do vegetarian food, but they say it is a treat and the videos are not real, but it ´s obvios reall, they don ´t like to see the truth

Explain to them how easy and inexpensive it is to pursue a veg diet! Show them vids of slaughterhouses, and factory farms, and teach them a little about how much nutrition is in vegetables. What are their reasons for denying you vegetarianism?
