Paul Dano shot onto the scene this year with Little Miss Sunshine, a brilliant movie about a dysfunctional family on a road trip. Fast Food Nation director Richard Linklater’s impressive résumé includes masterpieces like Dazed and Confused, Slacker, and A Scanner Darkly.
