On Game of Thrones, the remarkable actor Peter Dinklage plays Tyrion Lannister, a character who is in a constant struggle for power. In real life, though, Dinklage, a longtime vegetarian, has the power over life and death because he follows his compassionate heart and chooses meat-free meals every time he sits down to eat, sparing the lives of hundreds of animals every year. People who follow a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle enjoy a general heightened state of well-being and demonstrate that they are compassionate, care about their health, and love animals.

Like his Game of Thrones character, Dinklage is able to see the truth in a situation, and that’s what helped make his decision to go vegetarian so easy.

Are you ready to face your food?
Watch as Peter Dinklage narrates peta2’s
eye-opening exposé on factory farming.

These days, more and more people are becoming aware of where their food comes from. Are you?

  • Fact: Tens of billions of animals are killed for food in the U.S. every year. The easiest way to help these animals is by not eating them!
  • Fact: Eating animals is bad for the environment. According to the United Nations, raising animals for food is “one of the top two or three most significant contributors to the most serious environmental problems, at every scale from local to global.”
  • Fact: Eating animals is bad for your health. Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the U.S. today. Therefore, a vegetarian diet is one of the best things that you can do for your health! Furthermore, by eliminating meat and dairy products, a vegan diet can help maintain a healthy weight and help prevent heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
