Holy Grail's Epic Vegan Adventure
Heavy f@#$ing metal. That’s how Holy Grail describes themselves. They’re on the heels of their latest release, Ride The Void, and we can’t get enough! It’s absolutely infectious.
Here at peta2, we’re consistently stoked whenever we find out about heavy metal bands that have a compassionate mindset. Not to say that the epic shreds and wailing vocals aren’t enough, but hey, we’re here on a mission, right?!
So when we found out that James Paul Luna, vocalist of Southern California’s Holy Grail, is vegan, we had to get his story.
Factory farming is harmful to the environment—and not just in the U.S.! It’s a worldwide issue. Did you know:
- Here in the U.S., more than 38 million cows are raised for food each year.
- Every six seconds, an acre of rain forest is cut down for cattle farming.
- One of the top sources for water pollution is raising animals for meat.
- It takes 2,400 gallons of water to produce 1 pound of meat.
Save animals and the environment—make the connection! Try going vegan, and you could save more than 100 animals per year and the environment.
