Rachael Leigh Cook's 'Save the Seals' Ad

Actor Rachael Leigh Cook is calling for a permanent end to Canada’s annual slaughter of baby seals for their fur.

Rachael, who got her start modeling at an early age, knows that there’s nothing glamorous about fur. During her photo shoot for peta2’s “Save the Seals” ad series, Rachael—who’s best known for roles in comedies such as She’s All That and Josie and the Pussycats—told us, “You always just think of them as our quiet neighbors to the North, and then to find out that this was going on was shocking.”

It’s time for the Canadian government to listen to its citizens and compassionate people worldwide and stop this bloody massacre.

I am so glad they asked Rachel Leigh Cook to be a spokesperson for the ‘Save the Seals’ campaign. I am so angry that Canada allows this brutal harp seal slaughter! It is just plain disgusting!
