A veggie burger, duh!
Vegetarian metal-extraordinaire Brian Fair—the dreadlock-wielding frontman of Shadows Fall—made the decision many years ago to drop meat from his diet. Just what was it that made him want to do this, you ask? Well, lucky for all of you, he’s declaring to the world exactly what it was that made him come to that decision. And guess what—the reasoning has a lot to do with a certain other world-famous vegetarian. Any guesses, people? Did someone say … Morrissey?
In peta2’s new PSA, Brian declares, “I became a vegetarian many years ago after listening to The Smiths’ ‘Meat Is Murder.’ It opened my eyes to the painful lives of animals raised for food, and I knew I wanted no part of that.”
Not only is Brian one of the main men in the metal scene, he’s also a dear and empathetic friend of animals! Oh my, how I love that Brian Fair—with a résumé like that, how could anyone not?
Now, just as The Smiths so positively influenced Brian, let his words of wisdom and decision to go vegetarian have an equally positive effect on you. Don’t you want to save more than 100 animals from a lifetime of abuse found in factory farms? I know you do. So take our pledge to go veg … NOW!
