DIY Beach Wave Spray

Give your hair a break this summer! It’s time to ditch the blow dryer and say hello to texture. It’s hot outside, and the last thing that you probably want to do is stand in one place for 30 minutes and blow hot air into your face! Our summer hair solution: beach wave spray! It’s perfect for those who want that wash-and-go simplicity but need a little extra help to bring out their natural waves. Check out our super-simple recipe, and try making it yourself (it’s cruelty-free, of course :)).

2 Tbsp. leave-in conditioner (we love Aveda brand)
1 Tbsp. sea salt
Warm water

  • Mix the conditioner and sea salt together in an empty spray bottle. Add warm water, fasten the top of the spray bottle, and shake until all the ingredients are well combined. Note: You’ll achieve the best results if you spray the mixture onto damp locks.
